Vieste does not have a train station. The closest large station is that of Foggia, where many trains arrive. Then you can reach Vieste by bus.
An alternative, valid especially in summer, is to take the “Foggia-Peschici Calenelle” train of the Gargano railways and from there reach Vieste by bus.
To get to Vieste by bus it is possible to use the services offered by the Gargano railways , which offers connections between Vieste and some of the main Italian cities including Rome, Bologna and Milan.
From Naples it is advisable to take the CLP bus to Foggia and continue with one of the buses from Foggia to Vieste of the Gargano railways or Sita Bus.
The Scialmarino Camping Village is on the Litoranea, Peschici – Vieste, at Km. 4
Depending on the origin, it is possible to reach Vieste with your own vehicle.
The motorway exits of reference are:
• A14 motorway (Bologna-Bari): exit at Poggio Imperiale, then follow the freeway to Vico del Gargano (end of the highway), then follow the signs for Vieste.
• A16 motorway (Naples-Bari): exit at Candela, then follow the expressway to Foggia (about 20 minutes), then follow the A14 motorway, exit at Poggio Imperiale, and then follow to Vieste.
